I feel like I'm dying when I start menstruating. The first two days I am so tired that I only want to sleep. Do you think this is blood/energy loss or hormonal? |
i agree with sandy i think it's both
if you find the right person they can give energy as well as take it |

That's one of the reasons why I find you so endearing.
Yes, they literally make the world go round-- without hormones or neurotransmitters we could not walk, talk, hear, think, etc. They are to blame for all the bad and all the wonderful things we feel and think.
The mechanics of the human body have always amazed me. It compensates for almost anything, everything--even when you think it has failed you.
Seriously cool stuff.
Now back to the hoochie-cootch drinking----I'm so eloquent. . . LOL---that little bit of info still boggles me. Tampons, yuck. Brings to mind G.G. Allen----wonder if he ever tried this. [quote="Sandy"]I wonder why the AVA research shows that more women are vampiric in relation to men.quote]
I don't think that is really what the research says. I think that the graph you're referring to is simply a graph of who's answered the survey. There could be lots of reasons why more women than men answered it, though. _________________ I run with vampires. |

That is correct--it was an interesting bit, I think it was what suprised me the most.
But it has made me think about certian things in relation to this topic. _________________ "I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people."

Thought that I would update this--I actually did do a little diary from the time I last posted in this thread to mow. I have found that there is a definite energy deficiency for me. And I could kind of track my moods--very cool.
I also found out something odd too. I generally pop in to the forum via the portal--and I always look at the moon phase--but anyway, I have found that I feel the best during the full moon, and the worst when it is at its lowest point of waxing.
Anyone else notice anything like this? I asked a friend of mine about this and she said that she felt the complete opposite. In fact, she said she felt really crappy during the full moon phase.
I also noticed that not only am I more energetic, in a better mood -but I am also compelled to sit outside in the evenings. The world seems to be as it should be during the full moon--anytime else if blah.
Don't know if I asked this here--lately it seems that I have a monster case of Alz.
Forgive me if I have. _________________ "I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people."

The moon has some kind of effect upon ppl, just look at the way ppl react when there is a fullmoon. When the lack of energy meditation is a very good way of restoring it and maintaining the balance.

I get really edgy and agitated around the full moon, but I don't really keep track of it. I'll be acting kind of off and be walking out to my car or something and wonder what is up, then I'll look up and see it and go "oh yeah". I have a hard time looking away from it though, once I see the moon, I just want to stare at it for a while, no idea why. |

Lunar energy cycle is not just a female thing, I assure you.
Actually, that probably deserves its own topic.
I'd start it, but I'm soooo bad at keeping up with the boards right now.

No it has the nothing to do with one's menses--it was just an interesting observation. One that I made by observing such a cycle.
LOL--to think otherwise would seem kind of ridiculous. _________________ "I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people."
