My question to you is this :

I've heard of people feeding off of storms, plants, prayers, even lamp energy. But I've never heard of someone/thing feeding off the Tao. Do you guys think is is even possiable?

I'd say maybe. First off, let me say I'm not that familar with this. I've read alittle, but not enough I know alot about it.

What I understand is that Taoism is balace and order etc. I also understand that its also a place. This is a good question. Is this like the astral realm? Honestly, I don't know. Reminds me of a debate I once participated on whether or not the astral realm and the spirit world were one in the same... (I think I'll make a thread specifically for that....) I'd love to get Seth and Soulsplat who are more familar with Shamanism than I am to give their opinions.

I found this, "The Taoist Shaman was associated with the spiritual world, they were healers and destroyers of evil spirits. Both men and women were shamans. Women were more dominantly shamans, they performed exorcisms at certain times of the year, usually in times of trouble, like drought for example. The association of women is significant because the Taoist’s ideal society is deeply connected with matriarchy and femininity, this is obvious as women represent the yin element of nature. It was the Shamans that made Taoism more of a religious thought than a philosophical one."
