Healing in Safe Darkness:
Enter into your sacred Space.
Darkened, warm and comfortable.
Shroud yourself with a shawl, blanket, towel, etc.
Vent your complaints out into the darkness.
Take five minutes of silence to rest, compose yourself and breath deeply.
Evaluate your serenity and fulfill your needs. |

Is this for cleansing--emotionally and spiritually?
Seems like a healthy way to let some things out. _________________ "I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people."

This ritual is very similar to the idea behind Primal Scream therapy. You go into a safe place, vent all your frustrations, fears etc and come out cleansed spiritually and emotionally.

Thanks, LOL.
In fact, I tell my best friend rather than take her BS out on her kids or any one else to just call me up, cuss me out, scream, whatever--it helps. I won't be offended, because I know that I haven't done anything to upset her. i have a tough skin.
I may have to try this. I have a tendency to just lock stuff away without outward expression. If I get mad then I just smile-- without really acknowledging the stimulus that has caused me pain, or anger.
I would call her and reciprocate in kind, but she's more sensitive than i am.
I will definitely try this. _________________ "I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people."
