Welcome to PantheaCon 2007! Welcome to the thirteenth annual PantheaCon, our wonderful gathering of the tribes. We are the only annual pagan convention in the western US. The Bay Area is the mother lode for pagans and nature religion ideas. Again we have the best events and most knowledgeable speakers that the West and beyond has to offer. We have many well-known published authors along with unpublished local talent. We are keeping with two 90 minute sessions in the morning (9am - 10:30 am & 11am - 12:30pm) and two in the afternoon (1:30pm - 3pm & 3:30pm - 5pm), with a one-hour lunch and a two-hour dinner break. The evenings have plenty to choose among with rituals, music, discussions and workshops along with room parties. Weto choose from.

RegistrationRegistration for the Conference will open at 12 noon on Friday, Feb. 17, and will be situated on the ground floor farthest from the hotel elevators. After you register you will receive a complete program guide, pocket program, and up to date changes. Badges will be required for participation in the workshops and events as usual this year. We will also require badges for attendance to the party floors, the 2nd floor and 9th floor. Badges will be checked this year. lost badge under any circumstance! If, despite all your efforts to hang on to your badge, it is still lost, please report the loss to the Registration desk as soon as possible. Once your lost badge is reported, you may purchase a new membership (at full price) and if your old badge is found we will gladly refund your second purchase. We are sorry about how harsh this policy is, but there will be no exceptions!

ProgrammingWe start the Conference with a small Opening Ritual with Glenn Turner and friends at 2 pm. (Hotel room check in is typically at 3 pm, but bags can be left with the hotel Bell service people.) Then at 3:30 the Con gets going with lots of diverse presentations. We will have up to 14 different simultaneous workshops going on during the day. At night we will have many different programs plus postings for parties and possibly some discussion groups that can reconvene at night in some "extra" rooms. During each day on Saturday and Sunday we have as many as 60 different workshops and subjects to decide among. So many hard choices. And Monday is chock full as well this year.eet when traveling through the public areas of the hotel. This is not to discourage dazzling costuming.) "Hall Award" prize ribbons will be presented again for wonderful costuming wandering through the Con as in other years. You'll have to look at the pocket program to figure it all out. There is so much to do! Those interested in presenting in 2007 should check back in July/August of 2006.th floor Presidential suite Rm. 954, has snacks, tea and coffee and is a place to go to relax a bit. It is open all the time or as we can staff it. If you wish to bring something to contribute, by all means, do so. Check out a new area in the hotel, the Silicon Valley room on the 2nd floor above Reg. We expect to have display for the charity auction there as well as the new Art show. The Charity auction this year is benefiting The Mental Health Association of Alameda, Covenant of the Goddess, Magical Acts, and The Fellowship of the Spiral Path. We are looking forward to this years auction. The Silent auction will open Friday evening, with the live Auction on Sunday. We already have some wonderful things donated: Stags Breath, Star Trek collectibles, gold tincture, and much more! If you would like to donate please contact me at jnltassano@yahoo.com or call 510-547-6997. San Martin Hallway can be used as a place to go after an exciting workshop to continue the discussion. Sometimes the Con Suite is a good place to gather to discuss a good topic. Check with them first by phoning 7954. Some of the function rooms are unscheduled in the evenings and can be used for continued discussions (please check with the Green Room first). Other groups hosting parties should post their information at the Info table. If you wish to have an open party in your room, you can post that information on the day before and on the evening of your party. You don't have to go to great expense or have your room open for any longer than you feel like. Please help us make this Convention better by utilizing our General Event Evaluation form and send it back when you've filled it in. Copies should be on the Info table. We want to improve every year, and your feedback is important to us. If you attended a fantastic presentation, let us know. If you have any complaints, let us know. We want you to have the best possible time with your peers as possible. You can always send us feedback to Pantheacon@ancientways.com. We will try to have a feedback form posted soon.

InfoAt the Info table you can find other useful information and the daily Conference Newsletter. We will have a list of Restaurants located nearby at the Information table, we hope. We have set aside 1 hour for lunch, 2 hours for dinner and 1 hour between the two sessions each morning and afternoon.

VendingVending starts Friday afternoon from approximately 1:30 pm to 6:00. Saturday and Sunday - room open to the public 10:00 to 6:30 pm.d much more - many items handcrafted - are presented by an assortment of Pagan and Pagan-friendly Vendors from all over the West Coast and beyond. You will note familiar purveyors and fresh new faces in an exciting mix. We are certain that you will be pleased by the variety of wares, and the lively buzz of commerce and conversation in this Enchanted Bazaar. A map of the Vendor Room will be posted at the Convention just inside the main entrance to the Room. The Vendor room will open on Friday at approximately 1:30 p.m. For the remaining Convention days, the room opens at 10:00 a.m. Vendors in the area outside of the Ballroom (listed as "Mezzanine Vendors") may have different hours.
