Subject: Film Actor Needed

TRANSGENDERED MTF or "PASSING" MALE ACTOR needed for lead role in
Sundance-developed feature film.

"UNCLOUDY DAY" is a dark black-and-white "early talkie" fantasy set in the
South: A dangerous animal spirit (MIMI) returns home to North Alabama in
1930, wreaking havoc on a rural community before she along with others
finds redemption and final peace through a handicapped girl¹s magical vocal
talent.

LOOKING FOR "MIMI":

On the surface, Mimi is an enchanting, glamorous "European" performer known
for her exotic vaudeville act but she is actually a mentally unstable fox
spirit pretending to be a woman. (There is no gender "reveal" moment as the
character is not a man in the story.)

Not searching for a "vixen" only, but looking for an actor to bring
complexity and depth to the role. In other words, not a full-on camp-fest
(though there are some great "Mommie Dearest" moments!).

RACE: Caucasian, Asian, Latina, or Native American

Film is scheduled for production in 2007.
