I am just curious about various ways everyone has went about finding a donor.

How do you find a sang donor without scaring the bejeezus out of them.?

I really think I have a natural talent for scaring away donors.

The disadvantage of not being "out of the coffin" is that finding Sang donors is that much more difficult.

I find its generally best to cultivate a wide range of acquaintances across a wide category of non-conformist groups and keep my ears open for tell tales.
Keeping the groups very seperate also helps.
Spreading misinformation about why you keep the groups in your life very seperate is also helpful.
Not that I'm paranoid or anything. Wink

I have lots of ppl offer to be donors.. till I tell them I wanna see VERY recent bloodwork results.. Then they scamper away..

My best way to find a donor has always been through words, I find I have a neck for speech, and as my donors like to say "I don't know what it is but I'm drawn to you" Pish posh, I use words to convince them that what I want is what they want, However, I am aided by the fact that I am part of the BDSM and knife play comminity and both of those lifestyles face bloodletting to begin with, so what I ask is not far off. I find its harder to maintain a donor then to find one.

Seriously tho, I think the request for blood test results scares them more so than the cutting.. Must be the needles..

No not scary ^_^.
I just meet a bucnh of people that are...more accult styled than otehrs (they tend to understand it better) and then when I get to know them enough..kinda spill the beans and it works. haha There usualy confused at first till I show them what I meen, and they take it quite well.
