Here's a place for you to play the "devil's advocate" and debate all the things you hear when you claim yourself to be a vampire in public.

I'll start.

Q: I thought all vampires were immortal? Can I shoot you?

If no one posts a response within 24 hours, I'll debate myself.

A: You have to forget everything you know about vampires. Forget Hollywood. Forget Dracula. Even forget the need for blood and the concept immortality. Today's vampires are "rebranding" the term. Forget the fanged, widows peak, bad breath, bat turn'in fables of 'ole. Today's vampires are mortal. They can die from a shot wound. The linking characteristic is they are predatory. They can feed from humans in varying manors. They may feed from the blood, energy, or emotions. But this definition is growing as this is being read.

Does anyone wish to add?

Emotion feeding vampires feed of the those they see fit to drain when at there weakest so they can control them. Iv'e seen those whom want everything done to there own will even if they have to manipulate everyone.
