Tool Consecration:
Set up the alter as you deem appropriate.
Perform The Saltwater purification Ritual and cast a circle.
Invoke the Goddess:
Hold the item to be consecrated in your strongest hand:
Blessed be, thou creature of art.
Perform the Athame Meditation:
Holding the tool, Take in the power of air,
Remember to always use this tool in an ethical fashion, with good intent.
To use wisdom, intelligence, courage and prudence in magick.
To refrain from misusing one’s power.
Touch the tool to each of the Four Elements in turn:
Incense for Air,
The Wand for Fire,
The Cup for Water
The Pentacle for Earth.
Meditate on the power of each element and visualize that power flowing into the tool.
May you be charged with the power of Air, Fire, Water and Earth .
Serve me well in the East, South, West and North.
As well as between the worlds and in all the worlds.
So Mote it Be and it Shall be Done.
Pass the tool thru the Candle Flame and touch it to the central Cauldron.
Visualize a white light charging the tool.
May you be charged with the center of all,
Above and Below,
Throughout and About,
Within and Without,
To serve me well between the worlds, in all the worlds.
So Mote it Be, and it Shall be Done.
Draw or scribe your personal symbols on the tool.
Trace over them with your own saliva, menstrual blood or other secretions to create the link with it.
Breathe onto it, visualizing your personal power flowing into it.
Touch the tool to your heart, To your Lips.
Raise it to the sky and point it to the earth. Wrap your chord around it.
Visualize a shield of light binding the power.
Chord go around,
Power be bound,
Light revealed,
Now be sealed.
Earth the power, thank the Goddess and open the circle by thanking each of the directions and visualizing the pentacles dissolving.
Though we leave this Circle of Love,
We are always held by Her love and care.
Though we leave this Circle of Joy,
Our Good Father’s joy is always within us.
Sweet powerful Mother and good mighty Father,
I thank you for your help and say Good-Bye.
In Perfect Love and In Perfect Trust.
So Mote it Be and it Shall be Done. |
