Shielding, Blocking, Smoke & Mirrors...

I'm wondering who here has an alternative method of shielding. Most of the time I block energy ad hoc, and my instincts aren't really set up to shield consistently.

Anyways....I suppose I should throw some ideas in case anyone wants to ask about my methods so far. I usually use repulsion techniques which include location specific (a repulsion shield over my shoulder) or area based parameters (casting and exploding a circle to knock back anything nearby).....anyone have a good technique to reduce how much you appear on the radar to beings around you? (I know how to shroud myself...but thats too draining to keep up...)

So are you looking for shielding techniques or how to effectively be invisible energetically?

The two are relatively incompatible... a decent shield will generally show up to anyone who is energetically "awake" and looking "actively", it's the nature of a shield to stop or redirect energy ...

The lowest energy output method of not being noticed is pretty much to damp down any energy output, while still having some "leak out", and try to vary the pattern it comes out in... makes you pretty anonymous in any given crowd and relatively dull for anyone doing any sort of longer-ranged searching... not a good defense it someone already knows where to find you though...

naturally... I attack. >=) I only learned shielding a few months ago; before then, if anything tried to bother me, I'd launch an assault on it.

As for more permanent shields, if that's what you're looking for... it's easier shown than anything else. For me, I can make three  types. I'm not sure about the strength of any. One is very easy and simple; I call it a "wind" shield. I did it on instinct, so I can't be sure if this is right, but to maintain it I have to tap my foot. So I assume that I'm releasing energy from my foot, circulating it around myself to protect myself, like a high-speed wind. It'll blow aside whatever comes at it.

The second type requires constant attention, but no physical motion. This I call "Ice". I really can't describe how I make it; it took me a while to figure it out, in the first place.

The third, I call "crystal". This can last for a few hours without thinking about it. Basically what I do is take energy from my core and hold it in my hands, and make it in the form of a crystal about the size of a wiffle ball. Then I expand it to surround myself, essentially giving it "orders" to stay where it is, and check each face for flaws. Once this testing is done, reinforcing the weak points, or recreating the shield entirely to avoid weak spots, I make sure I give it the command to maintain and protect. This is a shield I've used while sleeping, when I had to. It didn't last the entire night, but it lasts for a couple of hours. It might just be me.

Now, as for falling off the radar... I wouldn't know. I'm not a very sensitive person.Only with powerful people, and sometimes not even then; people of a certain "frequency", can I detect their presence at all. There's this one girl at school... my attention is always subconsciously on her; very powerful, and very "sparkly". But yeah, I'm not the one to ask about falling off the radar.
