Astral Projection is (if you believe in it) a powerful art that can be utilized effectively.  The arguement remains that you may just be dreaming, but it isn't so far fetched to me that your spirit can travel free from your body.  Whether this is factual... eh I dont know, but this is my one and only encounter with astral projection.

I was young, about five years old.  One night I fell asleep in my bed just like any other.  I woke up in the middle of the night and sat up.  Something wasn't right, a disturbance was coming from my dresser across the room from my bed.  I leaned forward to get a closer look, and I floated up.  I began to hover in the air, and scared, I looked back to my bed.  There my body was, still asleep, as happy as can be.  I looked toward my dresser, and could now make out figures.  On my dresser there were three, two foot tall completely black figures that seemed to be darker that the darkness.  They were making this mime-ish pupetteering movement of pulling a rope, and my conscious port (soul, spirit?) was floating slowly towards them.  I didn't know what they were, but I didn't want to.  I reached for a pink, widened wiffle ball bat that was leaning against the wall, and was able to grab it.  I took the bat, and as silly as it was, I beat the goulie creatures with the bat.  They grunted in toungues and fled through a (you guessed it) black portal.  The room began to twist, and I fell backwards at extreme speed back onto my sleeping body.  My two beings reunited and all was well again.  I woke the next morning, vividly remembering the dream.  I looked around my room for signs of proof and found one.  The brand new wiffle ball band had a dent in it, though I just recieved it and never used it.

So thats the story.  Was it a dream?  Probably.  There are two many holes for it to be considered anywhere else, but I thought everyone on here might enjoy what I have to say.

I do believe in astral projection but I have never been able to do it. I think that when in atral form you are seeing 2 realms at the same time and that is why when you touch or move something while in astral form it seems to be unmoved in the physical world.

Love when you can and hate only if you must.

I have only been able to astral project twice in my entire life, and let me tell you it was kind of weird. One of my good friends on here, TJ has astral projected alot of times. Maybe you should talk to him about it. He would be able to give you more information on this subject than I ever could.

I know how to project myself, but as of yet it is something I cannot yet do consciously. My hands are "tied" on what I am and am not allowed to do by conscious thought alone. A wiffle bat? Guess it could have been worse than a wiffle bat, coulda been something like a pillow. And the astral self being able to manipulate anything physical takes a lot of energy mostly because it isn't supposed to be possible. In theory that is.

From whence we have come do we once again return. Life and Death are integral parts of the same whole, without one the other does not exist.
